We are Everywhere

Please hear me: "We are Everywhere" is not some sort of proud rallying cry. Rather, it is a plea - a plea that I have heard from so many women in so many ways over the past decade. It is a plea that says, "Please reassure me that God forgives me for this. Please don't reject me. I don't know that anyone can ever love me - and I don't feel that I deserve to be loved". It is a plea to hear words of grace, love and truth from our pastors, priests and ministry leaders...as well as from other Christians.

Many times, we only hear about abortion in church on Sanctity of Human Life Sunday. And then, the message is focused on the tragic loss of so many innocent unborn. That is truth - and it needs to be told. But, along with that message, there are women sitting in churches across our country that need to hear the specific words that the work Jesus did on the cross covers even the sin of abortion (1 Peter 3:18; Romans 5:8). They need to hear this because the enemy IS seeking to destroy women who have had abortions with all sorts of lies (1 Peter 5:8; John 10:10). When we don't hear abortion talked about in church, we can begin to believe that it really is too bad for anyone to talk about - much less forgive.
